Residency programs are built to help your learn the intricacies of their specialty. The problem is that very few residents have goals and interests which fit neatly into cookie-cutter molds. That’s where we come in. Instead of trying to solely teach you the intricacies of emergency medicine (no one can do that better than your own residency program), everything we do is customized for interests which facilitate your satisfaction and longevity as an emergency physician. Our development tracks are all about targeting. Ideally, these opportunities extend beyond the common approaches your residency program might already provide via traditional “Scholarly/Academic Tracks” (such as Critical Care, EMS, Pediatrics, Ultrasound, etc.)

It shouldn’t take long for you to recognize that our Tracks are unique, not only to California, but across the entire country. Enrollment will be open to all members. As with standard CEMRO protocol, there is no tuition, costs, or fees. You put in the work. You develop your skill. You reap the rewards.

All CEMRO members which complete a Developmental Track will be granted an official certificate of completion as recognition for their time, efforts, and newly developed abilities.
