Who is this Track for?
This track is designed for the individual that has an academic interest in how innovation materializes and proceeds to final outcomes. Enrolled residents also should be interested in learning about the process of protecting their ideas in the real world, such as the patenting process.
Why should I care about this Track?
Innovation is the foundation of change that brings progress to communities, fields, and societies. Within the healthcare sector, who better than physicians to recognize the problems inherent to our current system and work towards devising a more viable solution? Nearly as important as that solution is protecting yourself and your accomplishments in the real world. As such, you will gain both insight and experience with the patenting process to help prepare you for what lies ahead.
What sort of personal interests would facilitate this Track?
Technology, Improvement, Quality, Safety, Systems, Medical Devices, Strategy, Marketing, Efficiency, Computer Systems
How long does this Track take to complete?
As with all Tracks, they are longitudinal in nature. Currently, the timeline is build upon a minimum of 18-months participation.
What skills will I gain from completion of this Track?
You will gain a more thorough understanding of the paths that led to innovation in the past, exposure to high utility resources for your current ideas, and experience with going through the patent process yourself.
Does this Track have a charge/tution/fees?
As always, there is no charge for residents when it comes to any features, products, or services. However, for the Track, there are required resources (books, etc) which will need to be acquired and completed in order to successfully satisfy the Track. CEMRO has no financial affiliations or associations with any of the resources connected with our Developmental Tracks.
Will I earn a certificate of proof of completion at the end of this Track?
Absolutely! All individuals that successfully complete a Developmental Track at CEMRO will receive an official certificate which symbolizes the internal value and growth achieved over the prior 18+ months of focus.

We emphasize again that CEMRO charges no tuition/charges/fees to enroll and complete our Tracks.
What is the Track's schedule?
The curriculum and schedule are available to individuals that sign up for this Developmental Track.
